Gurmeet Choudhary Feels Late Sushant Singh Rajput Broke The Wall Between Bollywood And TV, Says 'He Paved A Way For Us'
TV actor Gurmeet Choudhary and Sushant Singh Rajput were very good friends and as they hail from Bihar, they shared a deep bond with each other from the beginning. The actor expressed his grief and said that he was deeply hurt after learning about Sushant's death. In the recent interview with Navbharat Times, he revealed that he misses him a lot and revealed how every corner of his place is filled with Sushant's memories. Not only that, he also mentioned that because of him he was able to make a debut in Bollywood.

Talking about the same, Gurmeet said that if Sushant was not there then the makers would not have given any films to him as he said, "Sushant has paved a way for us. If he did not go to the movies and would not have been successful, then, perhaps the makers of Bollywood would have told me, 'a lot of viewers have seen you on TV, who would watch you on the big screen by putting money.' Sushant changed Bollywood's approach to TV stars. Sushant broke that wall and after that, I was able to make a Bollywood debut with the Bhatt Camp film." Gurmeet made his Bollywood debut in 2015 with Khamoshiya that also starred Ali Fazal and Sapna Pabbi.

Gurmeet further claimed that after Sushant Singh Rajput's death, people have somewhere started thinking differently about the film and TV industry and this has made a huge impact on the actor's family. The actor said, "I am also getting a lot of phone calls from my family and friends. Fear has settled inside everyone. People are telling me to 'not take any drastic step, we will watch your films.' There is a lot of competition in the industry and we have to be mentally strong here. When films flop, there is disappointment and anxiety, there is a fear of career termination. In such a situation, it is very important for the family to stay together."
